World-renowned Italian design and coach-building firm Pininfarina will honor the son of its founder and the man who headed the company for 40 years, Sergio Pininfarina, with a special concept that bears his name at next week's Geneva auto show.
On Sunday, Pininfarina released the first official sketch of the Pininfarina Sergio, a study for a rakish, two-seater roadster model without a windshield, exterior mirrors, and if we are not mistaken, doors either.
"To celebrate his talent and his work, Pininfarina will present as a world premiere in Geneva a Concept car that renews the spirit of the extraordinary achievements born from Sergio Pininfarina’s pencil, translating it into a modern vision in the name of exclusivity, innovation and passion," said Pininfarina in a statement.
For more details and a look at the actual concept, Pininfarina tells us to stay tuned for the official presentation at the Swiss show on Tuesday, March 5.
